Head Housekeeper

We are currently looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join the team at Eaves Hall, our exclusive use wedding venue near Clitheroe. About the Job
You'll be supervising the Housekeeping Assistants ensuring they clean to the highest standards and tasks are completed in a timely manner. It's a hands on job and you'll be part of the team responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests.
You’ll work with the team to ensure guests are impressed with the cleanliness and detail in all rooms - from bedrooms, bathrooms, restaurants and public areas – our high standards shine through to make our guests stay sensational.
You'll be responsible for staff rotas, spot checks and ensuring the team are trained and competent in their role.

Hours of work
Working 5 days between Monday and Sunday to include early mornings.

About You
You’ll be passionate about making sure every little detail is as it should be to create an extraordinary experience for all our customers.
You’ll be hardworking, have excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that you carry out your duties thoroughly, effectively and timely. Good communication is essential to ensure all departments are working together to provide excellent service to our guests.

To be successful we are looking for the following individuals:
· Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor
· Hospitality experience preferred
· Experience of managing a team - ensuring duties are clear, monitoring performance and providing feedback, motivating and leading the team, preparing rotas
· Friendly, professional and customer focused
· High level of attention to detail
· Good communicator and able to build relationships
· Works well under pressure
· Enjoys working in a busy environment

What's on offer
Salary: up to £16,640 depending on experience
